Did I have a stocking?? NO, I think it was because there was not much money. We were lucky we got gifts. And thanks to my grandmother, Anna Maria Johanna Bartels, we had gifts.
My daughter has a stocking, which I habitually forget to buy things and run around thinking what will I put in the stocking. So if Emily reads this, what is coming are gift cards. They're small but mighty.
